Keep or Rehide | Rock Hunt
Have you experienced the thrill of a scavenger hunt around the city or in a museum? The joy of a backyard Easter egg hunt? The Albany Rock Project’s (ARP) Rock Hunt is ongoing and ANYone can participate ANYtime.
Hunt For Rocks
You can find ARP rocks anywhere around Albany (and sometimes beyond!), but the best places to look are public spaces like parks and playgrounds. Once you find a rock, take a photo and share it on social media with the hashtags #AlbanyRockProject and #KeepOrRehide. You can then keep the rock or rehide it somewhere for others to find and keep the hunt going.
Paint & Hide Rocks
Painted rocks add color and creativity to the city. Children and adults can paint rocks of all shapes and sizes to hide around your favorite public spaces. Just be sure to write the hashtags #AlbanyRockProject and #KeepOrRehide backs of your rocks. Plus, share your creations using these hashtags on social media for everyone to see! The goal is to get lots of people painting.
Create. Share. Inspire.
